Payment / Cancellation Policy Payment Methods I can not thank the crew enough for such a wonderful experience for our family! Job well done! more It seemed to be the better of what I could see once out on the bay. I would highly recommend this snorkel swim and specifically with the Hula Kai. Once we were back on the boat there were a total of five manta's swimming around almost pleading us to come back in the water! Two of us got sea sick over the side of the boat and the crew was super nice about it and just said that we were feeding the fish! Hahahaha. We saw three manta's during our time and it was amazing! A must do event that no one can miss. They eased you and helped to calm your nerves. They helped you every step of the way to make sure you were having the best time possible. Once in the water they were so helpful especially for those snorkeling for the first time. The crew was friendly and very informational! They answered all questions and did a good instructional of what to expect and what not to do. The boat was huge and there was not a lot of people so there was plenty of room to s. Me and my family attended this activity on 5/12/17 and it was everything and more! There was a total of 8 of us in my family that went. #MANTA RAY NIGHT SNORKEL KONA FULL#

Free of charge!ĭo I need to know how to swim? All participants must be able to swim, be comfortable in the ocean, and have prior snorkeling experience. But because of this, you are entitled to the Manta Pledge! You can rebook the tour some other time during your stay. What if I don't see any manta ray on my tour?Since the manta rays are wild and free sea creatures, there will be a time when tours don't see even one of them. These giants do not have stingers and only swim around humans because of their natural curiosity. Is it safe to swim with manta rays?Absolutely! Your captain and crew will give you an orientation on how to behave among manta rays. Once in the water you will be holding on to a floating board with underwater lights that attract plankton, bringing the mantas close to the surface and they will swim up below you.
Why is this snorkeling tour at night?Manta rays are most active at night, this is also when they feed on plankton.
